Ocimum basilicum “Purpurascens” Red Rubin
Very dark reddish purple foliage make this basil useful not only as a culinary herb but also for its ornamental value. Clove-spice flavor and fragrance make it a good addition to salads, salad dressing and as a garnish. Makes delicious flavored vinegar turning the vinegar a lovely shade of dark pink. Great in containers as well as for culinary use. Plant in full sun. Plants are shipped in 3.5″ containers.
