Daylily Fragrant Return

Daylily Fragrant Returns or Hemerocallis Fragrant Returns,

is a beautiful yellow perennial. Its solid yellow adds a simple amount of yellow to the garden. Daylilies bloom for about a day, hence the name, but bloom multiple buds throughout the season. They bloom from summer to early fall. Deadhead spent blooms in order to encourage continuous blooming through the season. It grows 1-2ft tall and 1-2ft wide making it a shorter daylily compared to other daylilies.  It is hardy with a hardiness zone 3-9, is heat tolerate, fragrant, useful for shrub boarders, perennial beds, ground covers on slopes, and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.  It is toxic to cats and tolerates rabbits.  It grows best in full sun to part shade and in well-drained soil.  It does not have any serious disease problem, but mites, aphids, thrips, or daylily rust can be an issue. We ship this plant in a 1-gallon container.
