Origanum majorana
Native to the Mediterranean majoram is considered a tender perennial above zone 8. Aromatic leaves can be used either fresh or dried in sauces, stews and soups. The flavor is similar to oregano. Can be grown indoors in windowboxes, pots and hanging baskets. Tender perennial. Plants are shipped in 3.5″ containers.
