Fragaria annanassa ‘Chandler’
Chandler is a California release and does well in all areas of the US. Chandler has large medium red berries and is a very heavy producer with excellent fruit color and flavor. Chandler can be used in the conventional matted row systems, using wheat or pine straw. If you choose to try growing on black plastic Sweet Charlie and Chandler are the preferred varieties. Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Hardy in zones 4-9. Plants are shipped in a 4 inch container.
