Description
Rosa ‘Madame Alfred Carriere’ 1879
Although classified as a noisette the roses appear to be much more like the ones you would find on a tea or bourbon. Fully double cupped shaped flowers open pale pink and change to creamy white with age. The fragrance is outstanding. It is not ususual to see flowers in December here in our gardens. Height 15 to 20 feet and more. We are using it effectively on walls in our garden as well as in the Birmigham area. Plant in full sun to part sun in well drained soil. Hardy in zones 6-9. Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
