Chaenomeles x superba ‘Cameo’
Clear peach-coral blooms are produced in large numbers on thus deciduous hybrid quince. Hard yellowish green fruit develop and mature in the fall. Although they are edible they are considered to bitter to eat right from the shrub. Used mostly in jelly and preserves. Use as a specimen plant, in groups or cottage gardens. Height: 3 ro 4 feet tall and 4 to 5 feet wide. Plant in full sun to part shade. Hardy in zones 4-8. Plants are shipped in a 1 gallon container.
