Diosprydos Kaki ‘Wase Fuyu
Wase Fuyu is an ealy ripening non-astringent persimmon. The fruit matures about mid October in Central Alabama. Like other Kaki persimmon it is self-fruitful and produces seedless fruit with outstanding flavor. The fruit may be eaten while firm and crisp. Trees are 15 to 20 ft tall at maturity. Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Requires 400 hours of chilling. Hardy in zones 8-10. Plants are 5 gallon size and are shipped bare root.
