Description
Pearl Bush or Exochorda racemosa,
is a deciduous shrub that grows white raceme (a shoot that grows flowers along the stem as it grows.) flowers when fully grown create a beautiful branches covered with white flowers. Because of this the flowers can easily be seen from afar and are dense as they cover almost all of the foliage when they bloom making it a white beauty. Even from dozens of feet away it resemble a white pearl, giving it’s name. As the branches grow they sprout new sprouts making the end of the branch younger flowers than those closest to the bottom. The flowers bloom in April with 4-5 petals on each flower with many flowers blooming. It grows 10-15ft high and 10-15ft wide and needs full sun to partial shade. It needs medium amounts of water and loam type soil that has some moisture. It is shipped in a 1-gallon container.
