While some feel this variety of parsley does have much flavor and is used mainly for a garnish, it can be used interchangeably with flat leaft parsley. Parsley is a biennial. It grows leaves the first season and then sets seed the next. Parsley is a host plant for the swallowtail butterfly and finches eat the seeds. Plant in full sun in moist well drained soil. In the south it can be fall planted in the garden or used as a filler in container planting. It will make leaves in the winter and flower in the late spring to early summer. Height 18 to 24″ tall and wide. Plants are shipped in a 3 pack.
