Description
Heuchera villosa Coral bells
The leaves on H. villosa tend to be oval or rounded and are softly hairy. It is a low (1-2’) mounding evergreen with unusually good tolerance for our heat and humidity. Because of this, these huecheras can take some sun if given plenty of moisture; excellent in shade and part shade. At 1-2’ heuchera villosas are great for edging borders, walkways, under perennials, around trees, as a groundcover, in rock gardens and in drifts in a woodland garden. Usually deer resistant so can be used in place of hostas where deer are troublesome. Perennial in zones 4-9. Plants are shipped in 3.5-inch containers.
