Penstemon tenuis ‘Gulfcoast Penstemon’
This tough Texas native has spikes of blue and purple flowers in the late spring lasting about 3 weeks and then flowers again if the seed heads are cut off. Makes a good cut flower. A good nectar plant attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Can tolerate drought. Plant in full sun to part sun in moist soil. Height: 12 to 18 inches tall and wide. Perennial in zones 7-9 Plants are shipped in 3.5 inch containers.
