Symphyotrichum georgianum Georgia aster
One of the deepest blue asters around, Georgia aster is a great addition for fall color. This treasure is easy to grow in full sun and produces its colorful flowers on erect stems up to 3’ high. Though once widespread in the wild, this aster is now rare and occurs naturally in only Georgia, Alabama and the Carolinas. Attracts butterflies and bumblebees. Perennial in zones 5-9. Plants are shipped in 3.5-inch containers.
