Malus domestica ‘Ginger Gold’
Ginger Gold is a very early ripening golden delicious apple with firm texture and excellent flavor. The fruit ripens in July and August and has greenish gold skin with a pink blush. The apples can be eaten fresh, baked in pies, great for sauces and freezes well. Our trees are grafted on EMLA 106 rootstock and will be a 10-21 foot tree at maturity. Requires 1000 chill hours. Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Another apple variety is required for cross pollination in order to produce fruit. Hardy in zones 5-9. Trees are 3 gallon size and are shipped bare root.
