Diospyros Kaki 'Maru'

Maru is an astringent persimmon when firm and very sweet when soft. The fruit ripens to an cinnamon orange color in October.  Maru is grafted on D. lotus rootstock and will be a 10-15 foot tree when fully grown.  It requires 400 hours of chilling.  Our trees are shipped bareroot.
